KARACHI: At least one person died and one got injured when fire broke out following a blast in the warehouse of a private firm, on Wednesday, Aaj News reported. 

As reported, the incident occurred in P.E.C.H.S society and it also damaged a nearby school building. Police and rescue teams had reached on the site of incident. Total six fire brigades were used to douse the flames in two hours.

According to initial reports, the fire broke out due to short circuit. Further investigations are underway.
