ATC issues final arrest warrant for Altaf
The Court for the Suppression of Terrorist Activities on Saturday issued final arrest warrant for founder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM) Altaf Hussain over provocative speeches against Pakistan Army.
ATC judge Shahrukh Arjumand heard the case and sought details of Hussain's assets. He has also directed the officials to seize his property.
It may be mentioned here that the exiled leader of the MQM gave a telephonic address to his supporters in which he raised slogans against Pakistan and referred to the country as "a cancer for entire world". Qamar Mansoor, Rauf Siddique and Waseem Akhtar had made arrangements for the speech that was delivered via video link from London.
Several cases of the same nature were lodged against the founder at different police stations after which, he apologized to former Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and Major General Bilawal Akbar in 2015.
