This common habit might give you nightmares while sleeping
WEB DESK: Nightmares, indeed are terrible and one should not ignore it if they are disturbing your sleep regularly. Moreover, there are multiple reasons behind it and science have pinpointed a common habit behind these nightmares and no wonder we are simply habitual of it.Â
The common habit was found out by conducting a study. The researchers from Oxford University carried out it on 846 participants. According to findings, among 20 people, one experience nightmares weekly whereas people with psychiatric issues have encountered nightmares way more than others.
Moreover, the sample size was consist of 89% women who were 44 years old. The outcome of the research varies, it was noticed that participants who slept longer than nine hours experience 35% increased nightmares. Whereas, the ones who slept less than seven hours encountered nightmares too but in less percent.
However, the common habit was also presented behind nightmares and that was consuming alcohol and spicy food and sleeping for more than nine hours. In a nutshell, to experience sound sleep without nightmares and disruption follow a decent sleep pattern along side a moderate tasting meals.
