Eyes can tell these eight health issues

Permanent sty

The sty on the eyelid isn't only annoying but it causes pain too. It occurs due to a blocked sebaceous gland which normally goes away within days. However, if it stays more than a week, it is due to a symptom of sebaceous gland carcinoma.

 

Eyebrow loss

There could be many different reasons behind eye brow loss such as stress, aging or nutrient deficiency. Moreover, Alopecia areata or spot baldness might be a cause too. But, there must be a possibility behind eye brow loss is hypothyroidism. It is basically a shortage of thyroid hormones which lead to hair loss. It is suggested to visit the doctor and get your thyroid gland checked.

 

Blurred vision

Due to constant use of computers our eyes usually get blurred vision and since it has become a very common issue. A term “digital eye strain“ or ”dry eye syndrome" has been devised to describe it. If you are experiencing something similar, consult to an eye specialist to discuss it.

Blind spots

Do not ignore blind spots in your vision as this may happen due to migraine if you have found wavy lines and sparkling dots in vision. However, in any case, a visit to doctor in such condition is necessary.

Bulging eyes

If you notice some of constant blur, then rub and blink it several times and it gets back to normal along with some kind of expansion, it could be a symptom of thyroid (or graves) eye disease. It indicates your thyroid is overactive.

Yellow whites

It is good if you examine your eyes and parents should keep an eye on eyes of their children too as jaundice is common in both adults and kids. It may be linked with bile ducts and gallbladder hence, if you are observing whites in the eyes are turning into yellow, rush to doctor to find a cause.

Cloudy vision with diabetes

It is suggested to diabetic people to watch their health carefully. Vision is surely one of them and one such problem is diabetic retinopathy. It is a state caused by damage to blood vessels in the photosensitive retina tissue. Moreover, it may be the reason of "cloudy" vision. Therefore, don't just ignore it and visit a doctor to discuss it.

If you notice your vision suddenly impaired, clouded, or even disappearing for a moment, seek medical help immediately because these symptoms are often the first signs of a stroke.
