Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the Government is making all out efforts for welfare and protection of journalists.

Addressing Electronic Media Association in Abbottabad today, the Minister said specialized trainings are being organized at national and provincial level for capacity building of journalists.

She said the Government is introducing Access to Information Bill for ensuring transparency in Governance.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said journalist community has played a vital role in the country`s fight against extremism and terrorism.-Radio Pakistan
