Pakistan remains commited to maintain peace, tranquility along LOC: Pak Army
Pakistan has emphatically stated that it remains committed to maintain peace and tranquility along the line of control.
Pakistan's army authorities stated this during a local commanders level contact established at Rawalkot-Poonch sector on the LOC last night.
The Indian counterpart was told that Pakistan expects the same approach from the other side. Pakistani officials hoped that this procedure will be exercised and no steps will be taken by the Indian side that may lead to vitiating of environment and affect peace on the LOC.
The Indian counterpart was told that there has been no ceasefire violation from Pakistan side nor did Pakistan Army mutilate the bodies of Indian soldiers. Indian authorities were told that there is unnecessary media hype following the allegations hurled by New Delhi.
A routine DGMO level hotline is also likely to become functional today.-Radio Pakistan
