Boom Boom Afridi joins Karachi Kings as a President
KARACHI: Former Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team, Shahid Afridi has joined Karachi Kings, franchise of Pakistan Super League (PSL) as a President, Aaj News reported.Â
According to reports, Former Captain announced his decision to leave Peshawar Zalmi recently. Boom Boom was a part of the franchise for two seasons.
The owner of Karachi Kings, Salman Iqbal says, "We are happy to have Afridi in team." The official Twitter of franchise also confirmed the news saying,"The entire team welcomes Shahid Afridi."

It is pertinent here to mention that Peshawar Zalmi is a champion team of PSL 2017. The all rounder Afridi, left Peshawar Zalmi with best wishes for future.
The team played finale against Quetta Gladiator but due to severe hand injury, Afridi was unable to become part of thrilling match which was played in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
