SWABI: At least two soldiers embraced martyrdom reportedly on Tuesday during an operation against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhw's Sawabi district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement, Aaj News reported. 

According to the reports, security forces were conducting an intelligence-based operation against terrorists in Sawabi district's Malikabad area.

The ISPR statement said, in an exchange of fire during the operation Captain Junaid and Sepoy Amjad were killed.

Later,  the compound has been cordoned off, the statement said.

This operation is a part of 'Operation Raddul Fasaad' launched by Pakistan Army last month following a spate of terror attacks in the country which claimed more than a hundred lives and left hundreds others injured.
