Shahid Afridi will not play PSL final
DUBAI: All rounder Shahid Afridi has announced and confirmed that he will not play final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) second edition on March 5, against Quetta Gladiators, due to hand injury, on Saturday, Aaj News reported.Â
According to reports, in a video message, Afridi said that doctors have advised him 10 days of rest.
“Pakistan Super League was a big challenge for me after the T20 Worldcup as I think I was not able to give performances expected by my fans,†he said. "I really wanted to play PSL final in Lahore. But there are certain things which are not in my power.â€
The Boom boom Afridi took twitter to congratulate Zalmis for winning and qualifying for final of PSL, saying, "happier than ever to reach the finals, Peshawar Zalmi has shown their resolve for the title and my injury won't stop them from winning".

Sources revealed that Shahid Afridi injured his hand while catching and he was given first aid immediately. The cricketer received 12 stitches on right hand.
