'Saleem Shahzad can't be a part of PSP'

PESHAWAR: Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement politician Saleem Shahzad has no place in Pak Sarzameeen Party party, said PSP chairman Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday, Aaj News reported. 

Talking to the media in Peshawar, Kamal said that Saleem Shahzad had not returned to join PSP.

Kamal clerified that there are some people who have no place in his party. "I do not like taking names but since Saleem Shahzad’s name has propped up time and again, I am left with no option but to come out clear about him", he added.

He blamed Indian agency RAW for subversive activities in metropolis from the last 22 years. ‘Investigation from the Scotland Yard also endorses this,’ he asserted.

He also talked about the fight in Karachi and political differences.

Saleem Shahzad, a founding member of the now-defunct MQM, had been living in London since 1992. However, he visited Pakistan three time during this period.

Shahzad reached Karachi from Dubai on Monday morning where he was arrested by police officials. Senior Superintendent Police Malir Rao Anwar confirmed the news. His passport has been confiscated by immigration officials. Later, Shahzad was shifted to Gadap Police station.
