Bilawal kicks off 'anti-govt rally' in Sheikhupura
LAHORE: Pakistan People's Party (PPP), rally led by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, started from Bilawal House here on Thursday has reached Sheikhupura.
According to Pakistan People's Party (PPP) spokesman, the public rally will reach Faisalabad while Bilawal Bhutto will make short addresses to the workers at various locations while the main speech would be delivered in Faisalabad.
A special truck for Bilawal Bhutto and other top leaders  was decorated with the PPP flags and other items.
Bilawal asked the public gahthering, "Shahbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif say that the country is making progress. How can a country make progress when sources of income are so limited."
"This is the government's job to provide gas to factories, livelihood to people and an end to poverty," he said.
"They [PML-N] will have to go," he added.
Talking to the media, PPP's Central Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira said this rally would have significant role in the current party's movement.
The rally reached Sheikhupura Road via Faizpur Interchange on the way from Motorway. Thus, the rally will enter Faisalabad after touching Nankana Sahib, he added.
Camps to welcome Bilawal have also been set up at Nankana Sahib, Feroze Wattwan and Manawala.
The rally will enter Faisalabad from Kharianwala and will conclude at District Council Hall where PPP chairman will deliver a concluding address to the gathering.
The Punjab Police have made strict security arrangements for the rally and about 3,000 personnel have been deployed at various places of the city.
On the other hand, additional wardens have also been deployed for ensuring smooth flow of traffic. -APP/ AAJ NEWS
