Rumors are circulating that Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has converted to Islam. As Lohan has deleted all her posts from the photo-sharing site and wrote 'Alaikum salam' (Peace be upon you) in her bio.

Since updating her header, social media users began assuming that Lindsay has converted to Islam. However, she has not yet publicly confirmed that she has converted or this is only her fans theory.

Many Muslims from all over the world are sending their congratulations to the former Disney child star via social media. Most of them are also asking Allah to guide Lohan in her journey with the religion.

Several months ago, speaking to a Turkish television, wearing a scarf over her head, Lohan said that the Muslim holy book had helped her find peace. "The Quran opened doors for me to experience spiritually, to find another true meaning. This is who I am," Lohan told media.

In 2015, Lindsay Lohan had faced backlash after being pictured with a Quran in her hands. "They crucified me for it in America," Lohan said. "They made me seem like Satan. I was a bad person for holding that Quran. I was so happy to leave [America] and go back to London after that, because I felt so unsafe in my own country," she said.
