WEB DESK: The United States Vice President-elect Mike Pence said that the President-elect Donald Trump could play role to resolve Kashmir issue, Aaj News reported.  

While speaking to an American channel, Pence said "Pakistan raised the injustice and Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir at every international platform" adding that "Current situation in the valley has worsen the relations of Pakistan and India" reportedly.

Sources further claimed that Trump would work to create lasting peace in the region once the new administration gets hold of office.

Earlier, the President-elect of United States Donald Trump assured his support regarding Kashmir issue while he talked to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on phone.
