WEB DESK: Pakistan's diva, Mahira Khan is all set to make her Bollywood debut early in 2017 opposite none other than King Khan himself. Or so we thought. After the Indo-Pak ban, news was abuzz that Mahira's role in the movie, Raees, is being replaced by some other actor. The producer, however, rubbished all the rumors, calling out that the Pakistani actress is very much still in the movie. 

Latest news is that the actress role in the movie as SRK's love interest is being cropped due to the strong tension between the neighboring countries. Although, according to Mumbai Mirror, the news is still developing.

But according to a source close to the development, Mahira won’t be back in India for any further shoots, nor will the unit be going abroad to film with her. Reportedly she had two songs but will now have to be content with just the one that has already been canned. A romantic sequence between SRK and her has also been sacrificed.

What could be the outcome of the story? Only time will tell.
