‘Partial attitude’ of NA speaker: Combine opposition stages walk out
ISLAMABAD: The combine Opposition in the National Assembly on Thursday staged walk out of the House to protest alleged partial attitude of the Speaker against PTI members.
Speaking on a Point of Order, senior leader of Pakistan Threek-i-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi alleged that the Speaker NA Sardar Ayaz Sadiq comprised sanctity of his office.
Being a custodian of the house, the speaker should not sent compromise his impartiality, he added.
He said that Sadiq sent only those references to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) which were filed against PTI leadership including Imran Khan and Jehangir Tareen.
Quershi said that today PTI Chief presented record before the House and the people.
He said the opposition in a meeting chaired by Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah decided to stage walk out of Assembly.-APP
