Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that he would march on Raiwind after Eid-ul-Azha to surround the family house of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif if the latter fails to answer his four questions about London property.

He made this announcement at a mammoth rally at Charing Cross in Lahore at midnight between Saturday and Sunday. Supporters agreed to lodge protest in Raiwind.

Imran Khan also requested the Supreme Court of Pakistan to place Nawaz Sharif's name in Exit Control List (ECL) so that he could not leave for abroad to avoid accountability.

He said that he had only four questions for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that first he must show the documents of Sharif family's London apartment, second, he should tell the nation from where he brought billions of rupees to buy that, thirdly, make public how he sent money out of Pakistan to buy the apartment and fourth how much tax he had paid for sending money.

Khan said that if Nawaz Sharif managed to escape the Panama Leaks probe, this time, he would ruin the remaining institutions of the country.

"You think you will do corruption and we will forget," remarked PTI chairman.

He was accompanied by Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jahangir Tareen, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Aleem Khan, Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Mian Aslam Iqbal and Zaheer Abbas Khokhar.

The leaders of Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League (PML Q) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek were also present on the occasion. Referring to Minister of Defence Khawaja Asif, PTI chairman said that Asif used to say PM that people will forget Panama Leaks very soon. Imran said that PTI takes to streets not against Nawaz Sharif but for strengthening the institutions.

Speaking to the participants of the rally, Imran Khan said, "PTI was seeking answers from Prime Minister Nawaz over his alleged corruption and Panama Leaks for the last five months".

He accused Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman of sending millions of rupees to Dubai illegally. "We are not pressurising Nawaz Sharif, we are pressurising state institutions to hold Nawaz accountable", said Imran Khan.

He demanded the chairman FBR should take notice of the people whose names were in Panama Leaks if he had some dignity. PTI Chairman said that corruption has destroyed all institutions of the country.

He alleged that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is trying to protect Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family from being held accountable. He said that instead of protecting Nawaz, the NAB should enquire from him that how he and his family were able to make assets worth billions of rupees.

Imran Khan claimed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif cannot afford to lose 2018 elections because he will be in jail if he loses 2018 election. He alleged that Nawaz Sharif is planning to rig the 2018 elections by using National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra), Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the police and by giving funds of Rs 1 billion to his MNAs. Why is PML-N afraid if the Prime Minister is not involved in any wrongdoings?" he questioned.

He said that every Pakistani wants an end to corruption as the common man has suffered a lot because of corruption in the country. He announced that the party shall remain on the roads if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is not held accountable in the Panama Leaks issue.

Strict security measures were taken to protect the march with at least 5,000 policemen deployed at a nine-kilometre-long route of the rally. It is expected that Imran Khan will reach chairing cross at Fajar time where he will deliver his concluding speech.
