Hrithik terms Mohenjo Daro one of his best film
WEB DESK: The chocolaty hero of bollywood, Hrithik Roshan is set to make a comeback in the film industry with his new film, Mohenjo Daro.
Mr. Roshan made his debut in film industry in 2000 with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, to becoming a superhero for Krrish, Dhoom 2, and the ruggedly handsome tycoon in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. He will be now seen on the big screen with director of Jodha Akbar, Ashutosh Gowariker's.
Terming Mohenjo Daro his best work till date, Hrithik Roshan recently spoke to the media about it.
"I am travelling back in time for Mohenjo Daro. It has been a great journey, great experience," Hrithink Roshan shared. "I really believe it is going to be one of my best films. I hope and pray that the audience also agrees with it when the film releases."
According to the director, his movies do take time, but at least they're well-researched.
Ashutosh Gowariker is known for making larger than life films, which was quite evident when he made Lagaan. The extensive research he does for a project is what makes his movies stand apart from the rest.
“I always do the research myself. I read all the books on the subject that I am going to adapt and understand the era myself. It can take a long time but it prepares you well.â€
Besides Hrithik Roshan, the film also stars Pooja Hedge, a newcomer and the veteran actor Kabir Bedi.
The film is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro, which now falls in Pakistan’s province of Sindh, and will depict the ancient civilization dating back to 2600 BC.
The movie is an epic adventure with a touch of romance, where the protagonist falls in love with his enemy’s daughter.
By the help of archaeologists and all the research, the movie has taken more than three years to develop and now we finally have its release dates.
The film will be on the floor by August 12, 2016.
