CAA made arrangements for evacuation of Pakistanis stranded in Yemen

ISLAMABAD: Civil Aviation Authority has made complete arrangements for the evacuation of the Pakistanis stranded in Yemen.

Talking to Radio Pakistan's Nuqta-e-Nazar programme, Spokesperson of CAA Sher Ali said that the evacuation operation would continue till airlifting of the last Pakistani in Yemen.

He said that two aircrafts of PIA have been reserved for the evacuation of Pakistanis from Yemen.

These planes are on stand-by position and on receiving green signal will depart for Yemen.

He said that altough Yemeni authorities have allocated a limited area to Pakistan for flying operation yet the flight operation of PIA is undergoing smoothly.

Former Assistant Secretary General, OIC Khalid Saleem also said that the Yemen conflict needs full attention of international community. Muslim world should think on ways to resolve this conflict.

He said Pakistan should consult with Arab League and OIC before taking any step.

We have good relationship with Saudi Arabia and the safety of Holy places is top priority of all the muslims.

Muslim leadership should play its role for the settlement of this  dispute, he added.
