ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep condolences over the sad demise of Ali Sufian Afaqi, a prominent personality belonging to the field of performing arts.

The Prime Minister, in a message to the aggrieved family, lauded the outstanding contribution of Mr Afaqi in promoting the film industry of Pakistan.

He said the standards set by Mr Afaqi in providing meaningful entertainment to the people through his well thought out films would always be appreciated.

The Prime Minister prayed that Allah Almighty may bless his soul with eternal bliss.
