Political leaders stress flexibility to resolve current crisis

ISLAMABAD: Senator Kalsoom Parveen stress the government, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) to show flexibility in their positions.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, she said that sit-ins have national as well as international bearing and they have led to a massive loss to the country's economy.

She said that political issues are resolved through peaceful means and on "give and take" basis. She said the aim of the Jirga is to take the nation out of the current crisis.

PML-Z Chief, Ejaz-ul-Haq said that government had sent its proposals to the PTI and dialogue between the two would proceed further if PTI responds to these proposals. He said that talks can be held on all demands of PTI and PAT within the domain of the Constitution.

He said political Jirga was a facilitator and now its work has finished.

He said demands of PTI and PAT are based on personal whims.

The people having wisdom and thinking would leave sit-ins themselves, he added.

Senior analyst Rasul Bakhash Rais also said that Pakistan and China are enjoying very warm relations since long regardless of government changes in the two countries.

To a question, he said that China is keen to invest and wants to shift some of its industries to other countries. We need investment as it would generate job opportunities, he added.
