PESHAWAR: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has confirmed that our prominent leader and a key accused in Pervez Musharraf assassination attempts, Adnan Rashid has been arrested by the Pak Army officials in Shakai area of SW, Aaj News reported.

According to the reports, the accused was arrested three days ago from South Waziristan, Shakai area. Exchange of fire also took place between the officials and the accused, due to which the militant commander was injured. The arrested accused has been shifted to an undisclosed location through a helicopter.

It is pertinent to know that the arrest was led by a leaked information given by the Multan Nazir group, whereas after the arrest the TTP has distributed pamphlets in South Waziristan to take revenge of this arrest from the Multan Nazir group.
