Bhakkar: Two cannibals sent on 7-day remand on heinous crime

BHAKKAR: An anti-terrorism court in Sargodha sent the now infamous ‘Bhakkar cannibals’ on a seven-day physical remand with no prospects of being punished in the absence of a law relating to the heinous crime, Aaj News reported on Thursday.
According to the reports, The suspects are expected to get maximum one year imprisonment and a few thousand rupees fine only to roam freely afterward in a society where cannibalism is not a crime.
It is pertinent to know that the two brothers were first arrested in 2011 and after serving time in prison, they were released and allowed to return to their village.
