Veena Malik announced her retirement from commercial film industry during the spiritual journey from Medina.

On the other hand, she mentioned that she will continue working for the films which have spiritual and a religious messages.

After returning from Umrah, Veena Malik said that she will not perform in any masla film from now on, but she plans to appear on screen for any social or religious film. According to her statement, "As far as the entertainment industry is concerned, I will continue to engage in any project which aims for welfare or social development. But I will not be part of any new films from here on."

Veena Malik in her statement mentioned that she is looking forward to changer her life-style from now on after meeting Maulana Tariq Jameel.
