Boycott against Khan's new release 'Jai Ho'
MUMBAI/HYDERABAD: Bollywood actor Salman Khan's latest film 'Jai Ho' released on Friday has been boycotted by the viewers across the city.
His new movie was unable to gain momentum across the city because of the recent display of affability with BJP Prime Ministerial Candidate Narendra Modi. This particular reason has become the main cause of people to get agitated and it has eventually decreased the ticket sale of the movie.
Observers said the poor response could have been on account of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen supremo and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
Fans said that they felt 'betrayed' with what they described as Khan's 'kite flying antics'. Hamed Hussain, a techie and resident of Banjara Hills said: "Any Muslim joining Modi is condemnable. Any fair-minded person would not have done it".
