KHANEWAL: Two alleged dacoits were encountered by police within the boundaries of Saddar Police Station, Aaj News reported.

According to police sources, two men on a motorbike were asked to stop for normal routine checking, but they violently opened fire on the police. This exchange of fire between the dacoits and the police killed the alleged dacoits.

The bodies were shifted to District Hospital for medical formalities. Yet, the bodies have not been identified.
