KARACHI: Strict security arrangements have been made for the Chehlum processions of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions who sacrificed their lives in in Karbala.

Pillion riding in different cities has been banned as part of security arrangements for the Chehlum.

The pillion riding has been banned in Peshawar for three days while it will remain banned for a day in Lahore, Karachi, Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi.

Similarly, mobile phone services would also remain suspended in as many as 22 cities . The services would be break in Karachi, from 7:00 am to 10 pm, in Lahore from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm and in Rawalpindi from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm.
