Fayyaz Leghari appointed as new IG Sindh
KARACHI: Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari, a BPS 21 officer, has been appointed as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh. This was stated by the spokesman of the Sindh Police, here on Tuesday.
He said that Leghari has been appointed to the post following the
retirement of Mushtaq Ahmed Shah.
Fayyaz Leghari has earlier served as the IG of Sindh province but he was removed from the post amid SC's suo motu notice over Sarfaraz Shah brutal murder at the hands of Rangers officials.
Fayyaz Leghari was serving as Director General FIA before the issuance of the latest IG notification. (APP)
