ISLAMABAD: Differences arose between government and the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz group (PML-N) over the Contempt of Court bill during the National Assembly's Business Advisory Committee meeting on Monday. The government wants to present the bill during the current session while PML-N does not want it to be presented quickly.

The Business Advisory Committee meeting commenced under the headship of NA Speaker Fehmida Mirza. Members of the government urged the bill to be presented during the current NA session to which PML-N opposed and difference arose between the two.

According to sources, PML-N took the stance that the bill should not be presented quickly in the NA, rather it should be handed over to the standing committee. PML-N, members in order to display their disagreement over the government's proposed action, walked out of the NA session.
