NATO supply issue to be discussed in CDC meeting today
ISLAMABAD: Cabinet's Defence Committee (CDC) has been called on Tuesday in order to discuss the re-opening of NATO supply routes. Other strategic talks with respect to peace within the region would also be discussed within the meeting.
According to reports, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ahsraf would head the meeting. The other members who would be present within the meeting include Ministers for Defence, Finance, Interior, Defence Production. Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee along with his three Services Chief, Director General ISI and Pakistan's Ambassador to US Sherry Rehman would also be present in the meeting.
Sources also added that the main agenda of the meeting would be to discuss the progressiveness of Pak-US dialogue with respect to the NATO supply issue. The meeting would also review the peace and stability within the region including Afghanistan.
