Shoaib Akhtar denies Int'l cricket come back
LAHORE: Volatile fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar denied the rumors about his come back in the world of cricket, saying he wanted to play but his doctors warned him to do so, Aaj news reported.
Shoaib Akhtar received some serious back injuries and announced his retirement in May 2011.
According to the media reports, Shoaib Akhtar said he would now explore new talent in the streets of Pakistan.
Last year, Shoaib Akhtar had announced his retirement from international cricket during World Cup 2011 and has avoided spotlight ever since.
The talented and fiery Akhtar has taken 178 Test wickets in a chequered international career that began in 1997. He tested positive for the banned steroid nandrolone in October 2006, although his two-year ban was overturned on appeal.
