ISLAMABAD: Pakistan all-rounder Sohail Tanvir will be replacing off-spinner Saeed Ajmal for Worcestershire club after his Pakistan Twenty-20 international commitments in Sri Lanka in early June.

Director of cricket Steve Rhodes believes new overseas signing Sohail to be the ideal replacement for Saeed.

The Royals have landed the left-armer for the duration of the Friends Life Twenty-20 campaign after Saeed was forced to pull out of a deal with Worcestershire because of international commitments.
