The infamous "Credit Card Scandal" MPA rejoins Punjab Assembly
ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Muslim League (N) MPA, Shumaila Rana, who was supposedly indulged in a credit card scandal, made a re-entry within the Punjab Assembly on Tuesday.
Shumaila Rana, the former MPA, had left her seat vacant in July 2009 after a female MPA blamed her for stealing and using her credit card. Rana asserted that she was forcibly made to resign from her MPA seat by her party's top official's but the Party members have denied such allegations.
Rana was adjudged a successful candidate by the Election Commission of Pakistan. The PML (N) has given her the ticket for a women reserve seat in the Punjab Assembly.
