JSQM Bashir Qureshi died, mourning in Parts of Sindh
Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Chairman Bashir Khan Qureshi late friday passed away at the age of 54 due to Heart Attack, Aaj news reported.
According to the sources, businesses and transport are closed across Sindh. Ratodero, Nawabshah, Padedan, Khairpur, Radhan, Sukkur, Badin, Matli, Tando Bago and many other cities observing a shutter down.
JSQM also announced three days mourning. The burial will be held in Ratodero, Larkano District in Sindh.
According to his brother Maqsood Qureshi who is also a leader of JSQM, the party chairman was going to attend a marriage ceremony when he complained of pain in his chest which had to be from cardiac arrest. Subsequently, he was rushed to hospital but breathed his last on the way.
Upon arrival at the Talluka Hospital in Sakrand, doctors confirmed his death, Maqsood said.
The deceased bereaved a wife and seven children.
Late Qureshi was the follower of Ghulam Mohammed Syed. Bashir Khan Qureshi was born on August 10, 1959 and was elected chairman JSQM in 1998.
Reacting to the sad news of the death of JSQM chief Bashir Qureshi, MQM chief Altaf Hussain has issued condolence to the bereaved family.
On the other hand, SSC examinations in Larkana, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas has been postponed.
