Peshawar blast kills child, three injured
A low intensity bomb planted in a sewer on Kohat-Peshawar Road here Wednesday morning went off, killing a nine-year-old child and wounding three others, DSP Riazul Islam said.
Talking to reporters at site of bomb explosion, he said it was a remote-control explosion occurred at Akho bridge in Badabar area. He said a boy who was passing near it was killed and three others including two children and a man got wounded.
The injured were shifted to Lady Riding Hospital. The DSP said three kilogram explosive was used in the blast. Police have started investigation.
