OGRA adjusts CNG prices
Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Monday revised prices of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), effective from February 27.
"OGRA in accordance with a decision of Economic Coordination Committee has adjusted the CNG prices," said a press release.
According to an upward adjustment in CNG consumer price, the gas will be available in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Balochistan, Potohar region (Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Gujar Khan) at the rate of Rs 75.35 per kilogram. While, CNG will be sold in Sindh and Punjab at the rate of Rs 70.15 per kilogram.
"The upward adjustment in CNG consumer price has been necessitated owing to levy of General Sales Tax on Gas Infrastructure Development Cess (GIDC) as advised by the Federal government," it added.
