CHAMAN: At least six people have been killed and one has been injured in a road accident took place on Quetta-Chaman highway on Sunday. Assistant Commissioner Chaman Ahmed Ali Siddiqui told APP, he said that the speedy car carrying six people from Chaman heading towards Quetta came under the frame of a dumper truck coming from opposite side when it slipped from its side due to heavy rainfall.

Five people inside the car were killed on the spot while sixth was injured, the official said.

The Levies Force personnel rushed to the site and shifted the bodies to hospital. A family got rent a car hired in Chaman and they were coming to Quetta when the accident took place.

The dead include Amanullah, Asmatullah, Abdul Bari, Jamaluddin and Abdul Qaddoos while the injured was identified as Fazal Al-Bari. The injured has been admitted to district headquarters hospital Chaman due to his serious condition.The Levies Force is looking into the incident.Further investigation was underway.
