Policies of confrontation must be avoided: Altaf
Commenting on the current political situation developing in the country, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Chief Altaf Hussain has said that confrontation must be avoided at all cost.
He said that he had been appealing to all the stakeholders to show patience and restraint and work toward mutual understanding for pulling the country out of the serious crisis and difficulties, said a statement issued by MQM here on Thursday.
He said the situation developing in the country had increased his apprehensions and this might lead to political martyrdoms in the near future.
Altaf Hussain said that it was his sincere advice to all the stakeholders to avoid confrontation. They should not only think over it seriously but also take positive steps for redeeming the situation.
He said that the policy of confrontation must end in the larger interest of the national security and stability.
Altaf Hussain appealed to the people of Pakistan to offer prayers for the survival, security and stability of the country.
