Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Tuesday said that Pakistan’s true image would be highlighted in the capacity building conference being held Wednesday for press officers and media representatives posted abroad.In an interview the Information Minister said the aim to hold the conference is evolving strategies for promoting the true image of Pakistan around the world.The minister said that suggestions of the participants of conference and consensus would be forwarded for further process.

Firdous said that Pakistan’s efforts for world peace would also be highlighted in the conferencer.She said those channels which are busy in promoting the negative image of the country is regrettable.
Dr Firdous said that conference would be vital for promoting the true image of Pakistan.
The Information Minister said that press officers and media representatives would attend the conference for the capacity building.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that participants of the conference will have interaction with think tanks, highly intellectuals, and also attend foreign office briefings, lectures, discussions and workshops.
She said that orientation and meetings would be helpful for the participants to apprise the world about the success stories, efforts and achievements of the country.
