Five laborers died while two others sustained injuries when an avalanche fell on a house in Dobair, Kohistan on Monday night.

Police told APP that the laborers, who worked in a chromite mine, were asleep when the avalanche fell down at about 03:00 am killing Zia-ul-Haq, Rehmat Gul, Sehrab Khan and Muhammad Wali, all of them the residents of Dobair, and Ismail r/o Ogi.

The injured including Naimat Wali and Dilawar, both of Dobair, were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
