Pakistan beat England in first Test
Pakistan on Thursday beat England in their first test cricket match by 10 wickets. With this victory, Pakistan went 1-0 up in the three-match series.
Mohammad Hafeez (15 not out) and Taufeeq Umar (0 not out) took the hosts home.
Earlier, four wickets for Umar Gul helped dismiss England for 160 in their second innings, giving Pakistan a winning target of 15 runs in the third day of the first test.
IJL Trott top-scored for England with 49 runs. Umar Gul with 4-63 was Pakistan’s most impressive bowler.
Saeed Ajmal was awarded the Man of the Match award for his 10 wickets in match.
