The provincial metropolis and its surrounding areas received light showers that started on Thursday wee hours as a result of the rain the snow fall was observed on mountains of northern areas whereas the weather become so chill.

According to met office, the rains have been reported in Mardan, Swabi,
Charsaddan, Nowshera, Kohat, and other parts of the province.

Heavy snow fall was reported on the mountains of Chitral, Upper and Lower Dir with intervals, whereas due to heavy snow fall the traffic have been suspended in certain areas thus resulting in problems for the local masses.
