Farhan will compete in 800-metre and 1500-metre races, General Secretary Athletic Federation of Pakistan (AFP) Muhammad Khalid Mahmood told APP on Monday.

He informed that Salman Iqbal, a former international athlete, would accompany Farhan as manager-cum-coach. President AFP Maj. Gen ® M. Akram Sahi, has selected the athlete and official for participation in the event.
The IAAF World Championships, the top competition of World Athletics Series, is a precious jewel, not only of Athletics, but of the whole international sporting calendar. During nine days, the greatest athletes in the world, from more than 200 teams will be in action.
