Shab-e-Baraat was observed with religious fervour in Pakistan on Sunday.

To mark the holy night, Muslims across the country illuminated mosques and houses and pray Allah Almighty to remove their worries and shower His blessings on Muslim Ummah. This is that great night which Allah has filled with virtues and blessings.

Many people spend the night at mosques for prayers and meditation while other fast during the day and offer ‘nawafil’, at night. The print as well as electronic media presented different programmes highlighting the history and importance of this holy night.
