Rangers have taken control of the Kati Pahari and other affected areas .Targeted operation was conducted by the Rangers in the areas of Orangi Town, Qasba Colony, Kati Pahari and later rescued the trapped people through ambulances. On the other hand , Normalcy slowly started to return to the city after shops and markets reopened in different areas. Traders have announced shops and markets will remain open today.However, Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry President, Saeed Shafique has said that traders and industrialists will go on an indefinite strike if the government does not control the situation in the city.
