OGDCL's oil, gas daily production reach 44,000 bbls, 1,211 MMcf
The daily average oil and gas production of state-run Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has reached 44,000 barrels and 1,211 MMcf per day respectively.
The average daily production of LPG and Sulphur remained at 210 and 80 tonnes respectively.
According to official data released by the Company here on Thursday, the average oil production of OGDCL's own and share from Operated Joint Venture remained 37,691 barrel per day at the end of March this year.
The average gas production was 907 MMcf during the same month while the production of LPG and Sulphur remained at 132 and 80 tonnes per day respectively.
The daily oil and gas production of OGDCL share from Non-Operated Joint Venture was registered at 6,309 barrel per day and 304 MMcf per day respectively.
The daily production of LPG remained at 78 tonnes per day during this period.
US$ 470.54 million foreign exchange saving was made through import substitution during March.
The Company generated an income of Rs.216.76 million as excise duty through gas production.
It also conducted seismic survey over 168.07 L Km of 2D and 73.429 sq Km of 3D during the month.
3,661 meters of exploratory and development drilling were also accomplished by the Company during the corresponding month.
