In occupied Kashmir (IoK), veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Gilani on Tuesday termed the issuance of Dogra certificate to the residents of Jammu by India a well-thought conspiracy to distort the Muslim identity of Jammuite Muslims, reports KMS.

Syed Ali Gilani addressing a seminar in Srinagar, said that India wanted to divide the people of Jammu and Kashmir on territorial, religious and communal lines but the Kashmiris would never allow such nefarious designs to succeed.

He said that the Kashmiri people would maintain the centuries-old communal harmony in the occupied territory. Others who addressed the seminar included Dr Javed Iqbal, Abdul Majeed Zargar, Sharief Sartaaj and advocate Muhammad Shaffi Reshi.
