'Once Upon A Time in Mumbai' leads nominations tally at IIFA Awards
'Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai' is leading the nominations tally with as many as 12 nominations at the 12th edition of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA).
It was closely followed by 'Dabangg' with 11 nominations across the popular and other film categories. While, 'Ishqiya' has garnered nine nominations, 'Band Baaja Baaraat' follows with eight nominations matched by the political thriller, 'Rajneeti' that has also received eight nominations.
Films such as 'Golmaal 3', 'Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge', 'Houseful' and 'No Problem' have also done well for themselves. For the most-anticipated top three award categories films like 'Dabangg', 'Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai', 'Ishqiya', 'Rajneeti', 'My Name is Khan' and 'Band Baaja Baaraat' will battle it out for the gold.
The IIFA recently announced the nominees for various popular film categories, a release said here today.
With over 1500 votes from the film fraternity and a magnificent turnout by the industry’s leaders during the IIFA voting weekend, the film industry showed their enthusiasm towards the gala celebrations that would take place in Toronto this year from June 23 to 25.
