Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has appointed Mr.Qamar Hussain as President, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) for a period of three years.

Mr.Qamar has a long distinguished career in banking and has worked at various significant positions.

It is worth mentioning here that the appointment of former president National Bank of Pakistan Syed Ali Raza had declared illegal by the Supreme Court of Pakistan and now prime minister has made a new appointment on the vacant post.
