Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that targeted action will be taken by the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to tackle the problem of lawlessness in Karachi.

While talking to media, Rhman said that the action will be taken without any discrimination against any political party.

To a question about desecration of the Holy Quran by an American priest, the Minister said that it was also a conspiracy against the Muslims.

"We urge the US government to take efforts to prevail upon measures for inter-faith harmony," he added.

Earlier, talking to media, he said that the government has taken all measures to prevent match-fixing.
