At least four security personnel have been injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast in Khyber Agency and five militants were killed in Swat on Friday.

The explosive device was placed along the roadside in Qambarabad area of Bara and was detonated when the security forces' convoy was passing through the area during routine patrol.

Security forces have cordoned off the area after the attack. The victims were rushed to the nearby hospital.

On the other hand, security forces raided militants' hideout on a tip in Gawaliray area of Swat. At least five militants were killed in a clash between security forces and militants.
